This is the fourth year that Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian of Tulsa has come out for a work day. WSBR is blessed to have the Kirk come out and roll up their sleeves and do big projects every year. Owen Wilson, thanks for coordinating this event! We are going to miss you in your move to Bentonville, but hope you make the trip back next year!

This year the Kirk rebuild our firepit, painted fence, rebuilt benches, and cleared trails of tree limbs from the December ice storm. Thank you all for making WSBR and JL a better place!

GETTING THERE By Oswald Chambers

"Come unto Me." Matthew 11:28

Do I want to get there? I can now. The questions that matter in life
are remarkably few, and they are all answered by the words - "Come
unto Me." Not - Do this, or don't do that; but - "Come unto Me." If I
will come to Jesus my actual life will be brought into accordance
with my real desires; I will actually cease from sin, and actually
find the song of the Lord begin.

Have you ever come to Jesus? Watch the stubbornness of your heart,
you will do anything rather than the one simple childlike thing -
"Come unto Me." If you want the actual experience of ceasing from
sin, you must come to Jesus.

Jesus Christ makes Himself the touchstone. Watch how He used the word
"Come." At the most unexpected moments there is the whisper of the
Lord - "Come unto Me," and you are drawn immediately. Personal
contact with Jesus alters everything. Be stupid enough to come and
commit yourself to what He says. The attitude of coming is that the
will resolutely lets go of everything and deliberately commits all to
Him.

". . . and I will give you rest," i.e., I will stay you. Not - I will
put you to bed and hold your hand and sing you to sleep; but - I will
get you out of bed, out of the languor and exhaustion, out of the
state of being half dead while you are alive; I will imbue you with
the spirit of life, and you will be stayed by the perfection of vital
activity. We get pathetic and talk about "suffering the will of the
Lord!" Where is the majestic vitality and might of the Son of God
about that?

This has been an incredible two weeks. Life Church Internet Campus and OKC Campus just left yesterday. Jacob's Ladder has a full week this week. A group from Hollis and Altus, OK is here until Wednesday.

The week ends with Great White Energy coming for a day retreat and strategic planning meeting. SNU comes with two teams to go thru the Challenge Course. They will be providing leadership to camps across Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, and Arkansas at summer camps. Friday, JL hosts the Lincoln County Football Camp for a second year. Five guys from WSBR will also be attending.

Below are some pictures for the Life Church Mission. We had people from across the country make the time to come and serve. People from Texas, Illinois, California, Maine, Oklahoma and Wisconsin where here this past weekend. All these projects happened in 32 hours over two weekends! Incredible!!! Thank you to all of you for what you have accomplished!

The front entry was landscaped. Bunkbeds were made for bunkhouse #5. 40 acres were mowed. More trees were trimmed up. Bunkhouse #5 had the windows and doors installed. All the boxes and electrical wiring was installed. Most of the cornish and soffet work was done. Felt was put on the roof.

Materials are here ready and waiting. We are looking for volunteers who are skilled in the following projects areas to put a team together:

A crew to complete cornish and cedar siding.
A crew to build the deck on the front porch.
A crew to install the metal roof.
A sheetrock crew to hang sheetrock on celings.
A crew to hang paneling on the walls and do cedar trim work.
A crew to build the front deck
